BENEFITS
Effective at low concentration: In many instances, 4 oz.
of ANTOX is adequate for protection of feeds and vitamins.
Fats and meals require 8 to 16 oz. per ton.
Lack of toxicity: The compounds included in ANTOX are non-toxic
at the concentrations used.
Does not contribute objectionable factors to stabilized
products: The purity and low concentration of the compounds
preclude the contributions of undesirable flavor, odor or
color.
Ease of application: ANTOX is available either as dry or
liquid form. Thus it may be used in a wide range of products
and under varying conditions.
Stability at high temperatures: Two of the chemical compounds
in ANTOX - BHT and BHA - are noted for their ability to
withstand the temperatures of cooking, pelleting and extrusion.
Reasonable cost: Because of the low concentration of ANTOX
required for stabilization the cost is only a few cents
per ton.
